In this episode, Natasha Gibbons and Emma Farrington from our Clinical Negligence department are talking about pressure sores, or "bed sores". They explain the different grades and the extent they can develop and deteriorate quickly. The elderly are most at risk from pressure sores, but they can happen to anybody, particularly those with spinal injuries. There are some graphic descriptions in this episode from the beginning as Natasha and Emma speak about some of the cases they've dealt with.
